Do you want to solve the technological challenges of the future?

Komab’s employees have different backgrounds and a wealth of different experiences, but they all have one thing in common: A great interest in the technological challenges facing customers, and in using the latest technology in their work.

We are currently ten employees who are located in our main office in the center of Skellefteå, but most of their time is spent on-site with customers. In your role at Komab you will therefore work both independently and in teams, internally and together with customers.

We believe in teamwork. That’s why we, once a month, get together to review goals and challenges and talk about how to facilitate further development. We also regularly organise much-appreciated trips together where we mix work and teambuilding activities.

What it’s like working at Komab

Komab is a small, great and exciting company where I have the opportunity to influence both assignments and results. As we both hire out expertise and design and sell machinery, there are good opportunities for varied work and development. We have good customers in the surrounding area with complex and inspiring products.

The best thing about my job is that I get to practice my creativity. I get the chance to follow my ideas from start to finish and see that they work in real life. And the tasks are very varied, I can work with everything from images to method descriptions, drawings and calculations.

Electrical and automation engineers

Komab is looking for creative electrical and automation engineers who are passionate about innovation and new technology. As an electrical and automation engineer at Komab, you will work with construction and automation solutions within all phases of the project. You will get the opportunity to develop completely new solutions and, if necessary, improve and upgrade existing equipment and applications. The work gives a lot of room for variation both in terms of technical challenges but also for your personal development.

Qualifications: You are familiar with modern CAD tools such as Engineering Base and have knowledge in Siemens and B&R control systems, ABB and HMI.

Mechanical designers

Komab is looking for designers in mechanical engineering who wants to develop the industry in northern Sweden and the world. As a mechanical engineer at Komab, you will work within all phases of our internal or customer projects, from idea to commissioning. You will have the opportunity to work both with the development of new products as well as improving on existing design solutions and equipment’s. The work is task-driven and gives a lot of room for variation both in terms of technical challenges but also for you as a person.

Qualifications: Knowledge of modern CAD tools such as Solidworks, Creo and Inventor is an advantage.
